So the final verdict is between Phillipines and Puerto Rico …Puerto Rico won because she played safe and perfectly finished her answer before she could stumble to make any mistake or contradicts her main statement. Phillipines deserves runner up or crown but her mistake was saying bravery else her content and explanation was enough to win crown. If she'd answered something like loyalty or confidently beautiful with a purpose (which she already described so well as torchbearers) she would have won. The quality to win the crown is something that understands the value of crown which is beauty with a purpose and such quality calls for loyalty to the purpose of the crown and being "confidently beautiful with a heat" (Pia's iconic lines) and a purpose to bring change to the world. The word bravery might imply a bit rude thought its not or aggressive to the one asking the question appearing as if one needs to be brave to snatch the crown although the explanation clarifies it takes bravery to be the torch bearers which ultimately became confusing as the question asked about the crown and not being a torchbearer
Anyways all turns out well if not for her humiliation, Catriona would never ever have the chance to enthrall the universe with her lava gown, slow mo walk and her iconic tondo slum answers and she would just have been another Miss World already forgotten by now. I mean who remembers today Meghan Young, Rolene Strauss, Manushi Chillar and even Natalie Glebova says Aishwarya is the only Miss Worls she remembers. Only Aishwarya and Priyanka Chopra are the only two Miss Worlds that still walk red carpet in Cannes and famous in the world. So it's much better to be humiliated in Miss World and wins Miss Universe rather. Even Gal Godot who is just a participant in MU is more famous than most Miss Worlds.

I don't no why everyone here is talking only about Catriona I know she deserves more in miss world 2016 but she can not be the winner because when we compare miss puerto rico and miss philippines answer miss puerto rico answer was outstanding and exactly to the point and her answer actually also gives the answer about what a miss world should do miss philippines answer was also outstanding and to the point but that answer do not shows the actual potential of miss philippines . That's why she did not won miss world 2016
