Miss World 2021 will be the 70th edition of the Miss World pageant. The coronation of the pageant will be held on March 16, 2022 at the Coca-Cola Music Hall in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Miss World 2019 Toni-Ann Singh, 25, of Jamaica will crown her successor at the José Miguel Agrelot Coliseum in San Juan, Puerto Rico in 2022. It will be the 70th edition of the oldest active international beauty pageant, which was created by Eric Morley in 1951.

T’was the night of the Dirty Old Man Show . I turned my TV off and went to sleep .
This year Miss World got more time to prepare for the finale but this was the worst edition of Miss World production wise that too for this strongest batch of miss world and some of the cuts (not about Winner) Karolina is really deserving ❤️✨ But I wonder how India didn't make it to top6 despite giving the best answer in Top13 ! And Venezuela and South Africa really deserved more!
I am happy for Karolina ❤️she is really deserving. But watching the show feel like Miss World plays safe game by excluding strong speakers like India, Venezuela, South Africa..just to crown madam Julia's favourite.
And the stage, lighting, Camera quality everything was the worst expect the winner !

Pure gimmicks n very politically motivated results. Facial beauty, Poland is a knockout. But dropping India, Philippines, South Africa n even Venezuela ( except of course for Ms. Cote d I’voire ) in favour of the others in top 6 is extremely ludicrous! Those who were dropped from top 6 have worked their asses off to standout amongst the rests which most of them even won in the mini segment competitions not unlike others so what’s the point of having those mini segment competitions if it won’t mean or carry any bearing at all so everything is pure SHIT and UNFAIR. It isn’t fair for those countries who often go high in beauty competitions like India, SA, Vene n Philippines who really strive to be better all the time as they do prepare and work hard. If u just noticed they completely dropped off those powerhouse countries in favour of less known ones. They have to make it equal that India, SA, Philippines n Venezuela don’t reach top six. That was intentional! Of course they have to put up Cote d I’voire as she’s the only one newbie n not powerhouse but in fairness she truly deserves her spot lest even win the title!

South Africa 🇿🇦 India 🇮🇳 and Philippines 🇵🇭 would have killed those questions trust me on these! It’s very evident with their Interview skills and how they answered on top 12 questions. This was the first and last time that I watched Miss World. I'm so disappointed at how South Africa, Botswana, India, Venezuela, Cote D'ivoire and Philippines were overlooked. That tie between Indonesia and Cote D'ivoire was off, wtf. There is no need for debating whether Miss World is better than Miss Universe because Miss World will prove time and time again why Miss Universe is superior. All of the strong contenders and speakers were left out, what was the purpose of the closed door interview 💔💔

I love the gown, but the only problem in this pageant today, MW 2022 has no energy, the others are right, it looks like there is a concert, I love the orchestra in the back but the energy like before is not that strong. The stage is okay, it doesn't matter how small or big it is as much as the energy from the start that MW started should sustain that especially since they are 70th like MU. If the stage, orchestra, production and hosts have enough energy, the candidates will also have energy. Their VTRs are good, they should have sustained that until the end of the competition. (Just my observation, opinion). I was also lacking in her runway walk unlike in his MWP performance, maybe because of the postponement of the pageant, but still, 2 Cebuanas now competed and both big pageants, the celebration still competed in the same 70th Years. for MISS WORLD PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭 is the person that I am talking about in the end of my comment haha, Tracy Maureen Perez, it's okay if she's not called for top 6, she's still our Reina. And still, CONGRATULATIONS to MW22 REPRESENTATIVE POLAND FOR WINNING THE MW22

Actually among all the philippine beauties, its tracy that i fall in love with. Whether she won or not in my heart she was the best.
The crown absolutely suits miss Poland but she was vey lukewarm even during her top 6 answer, the MC looked disorganised and did an average job…Poland won coz of the Ukraine and Russia situation and that's a fact ….South Africa would've made a better Miss world /Speaker and ambassador and would've saved the pageant…They robbed her from the crown

First, Philippines, India, and South Africa should have made it…even as a finalist. Also, in that TOP 6, Miss Côte d’Ivoire should have been the Miss World considering how she handled that question really well and how she performed in other categories like Top Model and Head to Head Challenge. I think Nepal was also great. Upon reviewing the all the fast track results and seeing the coronation night, honestly, Miss Poland winning MW is definitely surprising. I did not see it coming. I don't even know what happened to the results of Sports events and whatever other categories that MW has… Still, it is over now. I am just wishing all the best to the crowned winner.
What are the criteria to be in the top 6?
I expected Miss Poland to win – what with the barbaric Russian Invasion going on. Miss World Org. needed to find a way to signal its solidarity with Ukraine in particular as well as with Europe in general. And since Poland has been one of – if not the most – impacted by the tidal wave of Ukrainian refugees fleeing the devastation, conferring the crown and title on that NATO-member country is subliminally aligning with Putin's victims. It could have been Miss World Ukraine herself twho would have gotten what ultimately was a sympathy vote in choosing Miss World 2021 but unfortunately she didn't make it to the Top 40 in December 2021 (before the Russian-Ukraine war begun) when the final competition was postponed.
As for Miss USA, I actually didn't think she would be seriously considered for the job of Miss World. Julia wouldn't have liked to have a traveling companion for visits to MW BWAP projects all over the world someone who has had heart surgery at age 12 or who underwent facial burns from an accident. Her medical conditions would mean that some exigencies could arise while they're traveling and she would turn out to be more of a burden than an asset.
I would love to see these high caliber European countries at miss universe getting placement
