Title: Love this dress
Review: First the dress looks just like the picture. I did read alot of the reviews before purchasing so I knew I would have to have it altered. I’m 5’2 and this dress was very long on me. I also needed it taken in a bit as I am only 97lbs. It is not paper thin which was great because it was for a wedding in November. I bought the navy blue dress. All in all I really loved the dress.

Title: OK in black
Review: I took a risk and sized down because I was between a S and M and I didn’t want it to be baggy. Turns out it was a little too tight although I could still zip it up. I think in the black color, it does not look cheap but not sure how the other colors would fare with this material type. It like a rough-ish, matte, stretchy material that’s relatively thin but not see thru. Now that I’ve tested the size, I’d recommend ordering your regular size (US number size 4-6, 8-10, 12-14)

Review: I normally don’t take price too much into account in reviewing something, unless it’s way off the mark. I feel like this dress is an example where it matters.At the time of the review, it’s listed at $48. For this amount, plus the description of a semi formal, prom dress, I would expect a few things. While the dress is a cute cut, fits according to the size chart, and is flattering, it is in my mind not what I would expect for a formal event, more like an evening out to dinner with the husband.The main reason I say this is the material. It is a very thin, crepe like fabric. When I hold it up to the light, it is not fully opaque. It’s not see through on, but it does feel flimsy for a curvy figure. It also has no lining, which would be OK if the material had a heavier weight.None of this makes it a bad dress, it’s just ok.Also, I am 5’11” and felt like the dress was a bit short on me versus the model. For most people that isn’t an issue. But anyone tall may be wary that this is more tea length than ankle length.
