Title: Just the BEST. AMAZING TONES and AMAZING FORMULA!
Review: I’ve never tried liners and lipsticks like this Etienne Ortega’s brand. He has literally made the best universal tones for all skin colors. They give you that perfect neutral cool taupey yet natural undertone that matches real skin color. The formula is so creamy yet perfectly solid to buildup for liners and the lip stick. The heavier you apply with pressure, the more intense and defined you can make the products. But if you line lips or apply lip stick lightly, you can get a be dry natural end result too. It’s so versatile!I got the lip liners in shade La Chic, Xola and Cinnamon Girl. Lip stick in Nubes. Lip oil in Blue Agave and it’s so cute; subtle glitter and perfect cool tone and its gel-oil texture is so comfortable!I already know I’m gonna use these so much, gonna repurchase for sure.

Title: Absolutely love!
Review: So creamy and smooth! This lip liner is way better than I had expected. It actually feels moisturizing on my lips and doesn’t smudge once it’s dry. This is not a plumping liner though, it doesn’t tingle or burn when applied, but it does give the effect of bigger lips.

Title: Rich color, smooth glide
Review: I used the Ortega Beauty Soft Contour Lip Liner and I love the color! It looks nice against my lips. It’s rich in color and looks beautiful. It glides smoothly too, which is important to me. I also like that the liner is budget-friendly, so I can buy multiple colors to experiment. I highly recommend it.

Title: Great color, unsure of formula.
Review: It’s not my favorite and it’s not lasting, in my opinion. The color is great and it pairs well with a few of my other colors I have to complete my lip look. All in all, I don’t think I would buy again but more advanced makeup users might have tips and tricks for this product. I’m no pro by any means.

Title: Musa – Good tawny plum lip liner
Review: I am reviewing the Ortega Soft-Contour Lip Liner in the shade Musa, which is a plum color.First Impressions: The product listing mentioned it has a flex tip, so I was curious to discover some new innovation. Hmm..It’s a standard automatic lip liner. No special flex powers. I’m not mad because I like standard automatic lip liners better than pencils anyway. The color looks dark, which I was worried about because it is really hard to tell the colors from the listing. The listing uses an odd graphic design choice to swatch the color — a crayon on high texture vellum paper with a lot of skipping. Skipping is the opposite of what one wants in a lip liner, so the graphic designer made a weird choice. Anyway, it’s a medium plum color.Result: It’s an excellent texture. It’s a little on the dryer side, which I prefer because that wears longer, but not too dry where it skips or balls. It’s just creamy enough to glide, but not so creamy that it smears.The color is a tawny plum. Not too red or purple. It’s a little darker than looks good on my fair skin, but the texture lends itself nicely to using a light hand or shading with the side. I made some swatches so you can see the tip, the side, and a light shading of Musa on fair skin.
It has good staying power.Final Thoughts: Very good quality lip liner. 4/5.
