  1. These are some deep questions for which a national or international queen should be prepared and could easily be thrown by if they are fortunate enough to get into the finals in the Q&A section. For Miss USA competitors, this is reminiscent of the year when Olivia Jordan won with the question about a woman being featured on American Currency and the queens were asked who they thought which woman should be there and why. The judges were testing what should have been a well-known (high-school level) question, but the only one who got it right was Miss Oklahoma USA. When most people, especially in the USA, go for job interviews, an interviewer always has on standby that one question: "Why should we hire you?". That catches a lot of people off guard, but the employers are looking to see if you can/can't convince them why you would be an asset to their organization. If you can't prop yourself up, they're asking themselves "Why should we?". One thing I've noticed about Miss USA and even with Miss Universe is that they have some creative ways of testing exactly how aware the girls are of the world around them, current events, social and even political issues. The girls need to be prepared with all of that, because in the Top 3/5/6, those answers can either make them or break them.

  2. 1. Society has advanced to where women now has a lot of freedoms, but there is still work to be done if we're going to have equality opportunities in the work place. And women need to be told they can do more than female roles, so they can be confident in pursuing careers in male dominated fields.

    2. I wouldn't say setting age limits, but certainly setting experience limits. Our candidates need to be educated in politics and have enough experience to know what makes the world a better and how they, themselves, can realistically help achieve that end.

    3. My first priority is to create a task force to make sure women are educated about creating a sustainable home such as how to create recycle bins and biowaste bags. Secondly, I will create a task force to create and invest in upcycled fashions that are affordable, so women can look stylish while protecting the environment. Third of all, I will have the task force work on making every feminine product biodegradable, whether it be pads or tampons, so they can be easily flushed down the toilet rather than piling up in landfills.
