A critical part of my pageant prep journey is taking rest days. There are days that I wake up moving so slowly, where my energy is drained, and I just feel… bleh.
I’ve come to learn that listening to my body and giving it what it needs (rest, sunshine, water, protein, etc.) is very important to my self-care routine. On this particular day, I made myself yummy tea and sat out on my back patio to soak up some much needed vitamin d and listen to the birds chirping ☕️☀️🕊️
By taking the time to rest and recuperate, I’m recharging my energetic “batteries” to accomplish goals and tasks in days I feel more productive.
