I love Pia. She embodies what a Miss Universe is for me. Someone who never gives up on her dreams (joined the national pageant 3x); a wonderful spokesperson and take the jobs and the jabs at being a MU (winning in a controversial manner); most of all, shows what a MU crown can bring, and positively uses the opportunities that it sent her way (Still very successful, inspirational, and influential even after winning almost 7 yrs. ago).
Thank you MU and Pia, for showing that the title is more than just on the surface, and the crown is more than just an image. ❤🇵🇭

I remember Ms. Pia way back her third try for Binibining Pilipinas. It was in enchanted kingdom. Most people were into other candidates. I noticed some candidates were really intimidated with the crowds. Ya know there is this person who would get along with people. Take their cameras and she would be the one holding it and talk with people. She was really into people. That is what I like about her. So I initiated for a photo and she was happy tagging with us. I knew for a moment she will win. Because I pray for her to win. She exceeded it on winning Miss Universe. I was on my seat getting dismay for calling Ms. Colombia over Pia. But dang! I knew something was wrong. Steve went in and admit his mistake and called Pia the winner. It was really the best moment. I skipped class that time for her.
