Title: Happy skincare routine
Review: This is my second vitamin c skincare product and I’m glad to say I won’t be switching to another one. Before, I tried a Korean vitamin c cream but didn’t notice any effect from it whatsoever.Prequel has brought me the nicer-quality serum that I need. I love that Dr. Sam Ellis makes this important skincare staple both approachable and affordable.It’s very liquidy so it took me a few tries to get the hang of application. I tried pumping several drops directly onto my face like some people do—but I have sensory issues and dislike that feeling.What I do is make a “cup” with the palm of my hand and pump 1-2 pumps of product into it so it pools. I dip my ring finger to get some of the serum and then apply it in large “dots” onto my forehead, then repeat the finger/dot method for my cheeks, chin, neck and nose. Then I use my fingers to collect remaining product from my palm and use them to rub in all of the “dots” evenly.I have dry skin. In my experience this serum is not sticky or tacky after applied. It feels smooth, plump and nice. The smell is a bit strange but I don’t mind it and it goes away after a few minutes. I usually wait 2-5 mins before applying my moisturizer and sunscreen to let it soak in.I will say you should apply this to bare skin always. I accidentally applied it over some leftover self-tanner lotion on my face and it was extremely itchy and uncomfortable all day. Use it as the first step for daily routine and you’ll be good to go.

Title: Love this!!!
Review: This is the best and most affordable vitamin c serum. It’s help so much with my darks spots and make my skin feel amazing. I’ve been using this for about 2 weeks and started to see progress. It’s have a water like consistency and be careful when pumping it out the bottles. It will squirt out. It also smell like hot dogs,but it don’t bother me

Title: Great price but Horrible smell
Review: I wanted to like this product but can’t get over the smell. It also was previously used and /or the packaging is not good. When I pumped the product in my hand it poured out like a faucet vs getting just one pump. Great price but there are other products that I will be repurchasing instead of this one.

Title: Affordable and effective!!!!
Review: I am SO glad I found Lucent-C! It’s so effective and so affordable! I have been trying to cut back on my expensive skincare habits and my Skinceuticals C E Ferulic was a hard (and very expensive) habit to break but Lucent-C has quickly become my new favorite by far. Ordering on Amazon is so convenient too – it arrived quick and in perfect condition. Highly recommend!

Title: The smell
Review: The smell of this product is genuinely horrid. It is absolutely not a smell I can ever get past. It smells like old meat and dog treats. My first thought was that my product had been tampered with, but then I read other reviews that mentioned the smell. Unfortunately, I can’t even say whether or not the product is good, as I will not be using it solely due to the smell.

Title: Hydrating c serum
Review: I want to love it because the product line is formulated for people with sensitive skin. But my dry sensitive skin is reacting to it. If it didn’t make my skin burn, I would love it. It’s very hydrating, so great for dry skin like mine. Almost a little heavy, but would be great in the dry winter months.
