Miss USA 2019 Cheslie Kryst has died. She died on Sunday 30th January after jumping from a 60-story building at 350 W. 42nd Street in New York City around 7:15 a.m. local time. Kryst lived on the ninth floor of the Orion building and was last seen on a 29th-floor terrace. Police believe Cheslie — who lived on the 9th floor — jumped from high up in the building. Paramedics responded, but she was pronounced dead on the scene. Just a few hours before she died, Cheslie posted a photo of herself on Instagram with the caption, “May this day bring you rest and peace.” She reportedly left a note Sunday morning, stating she was leaving all her belongings to her mother.
Her family released a statement on Sunday saying, “In devastation and great sorrow, we share the passing of our beloved Cheslie, Her great light was one that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength. She cared, she loved, she laughed and she shined. Cheslie embodied love and served others, whether through her work as an attorney fighting for social justice, as Miss USA and as a host on Extra. But most importantly, as a daughter, sister, friend, mentor and colleague – we know her impact will live on”
Kryst was crowned Miss USA as Miss North Carolina in May 2019. She was an attorney, and after winning the title, she also worked as a correspondent for Extra. She used her Miss USA platform to speak out about social and criminal justice reform. Cheslie was just 30 years old. May her soul rest in peace. Here are some of her last moments.

May her soul rest in peace,,it reminds me of Tim Bergling(Avicii).why and how do those young people who got everything in this world,got the attention of millions of eyes from all around the world and got some big buck in their bank accounts reach to this point of ending up their lives.. mental health and depression is a big problem that should be taken with a much bigger magnitude more than anything else….it's so sad to hear that this young lady is no more.Hope she finds peace wherever she is right now….my condolences from Africa Kenya
It’s truly a shame and much more importantly how crucial mental & emotional health is depression is a devastating disease that needs to be treated immediately coming upon early signs it’s my sincere hope that she had a deep intimate relationship with OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST in closing my condolences 💐 to her family and close friends 🙏🏽☝️👏
