Title: Beautiful Corset
Review: Lovely. Color and cut are great. Good quality material. Sizing is accurate. Don’t have to size up like most corset designs. Goes on and off easily. Washes well on cold and hang dry. Haven’t had any issues with the zipper. I miss being able to stack the discounts. This was one of the last purchases I made where I was able to stack all their discounts and get it for a great price. Haven’t found any of their items yet that I am willing to pay almost full price for, so don’t know if that helps or not. Who knows. Something may catch my fancy.

Title: The CUTEST functional corset top!
Review: Utterly adorable!! I ordered the blue and white in a medium and it’s a perfect fit on my 5’6”/145lb frame. There is a zipper on the side for easy on/off once it’s adjusted to your body! Also the ribbons in the back and at the straps are functional, so this is 100% adjustable to fit. The boning is real! The fabric has a kind of canvas feel on the outside but the inside is lined with a super soft material so it’s v comfy against the skin. The trim is a richly saturated cobalt color and is well stitched. This could easily be a $100+ piece, so the value is excellent! You could pair with white jeans to dress down, or a white flowy maxi skirt for boho/romantic vibes, super versatile! Will definitely order from this brand again. Very happy!

Title: Beautiful fabric but a bit short…
Review: I love the fabric and the design is gorgeous, it’s a very good thickness and weight. All of the fabric patterns Scarlett darkness offers for these bodices are beautiful and i found myself spoiled for choice. They even have a modesty panel that rests behind the laces which many bodices don’t have.The only flaw I’ve discovered (and may be specific to me and other longer torso individuals) is that the bodice from top to bottom is short and rides a bit high at my waist (I’m 5’3″), so offering the bodice in a longer style would be nice. On me it’s about two to three inches short from top of the garmet to where the ‘waist’ of garmet is. One could pull it down slightly but the straps are short as well and, although they’re adjustable, lengthening them causes a gap between the bodice and strap that takes away from the look of the bodice. The zipper on the side is awkward to handle and, this is a personal preference, the entire bodice would be easier managed with front laces and avoid the production cost and possible breakage of a zipper.But the quality has to be the best that I’ve found for bodices on Amazon. And I’d much rather have a bodice made from quality materials that’s just a bit off fit, than one made cheaply that fits perfect. The price is very affordable and won’t break the bank to have an essential piece of garb. Though I don’t believe I’d purchase another bodice here, I’ll definitely recommend Scarlett darkness for those shopping for garb on a budget and I’m now thinking I’ll try some of their available shirts and chemises.

Title: Fit for a Princess!
Review: I wore this corset top to an after hours cocktail event at Christian Dior. I wanted to put something together that was a tribute to Toile de Jouy, a popular pattern that was used when Christian Dior first started out in his designs. This was it!! I got loads of compliments & felt like royalty in this. Highly unique! I am a size 34DD & got a US 6 and it fits me just right. High quality, sturdy zipper, thick material. Just so pretty! Definitely recommend!

I ended up sizing up one due to a bigger bust and felt more comfortable by sizing up. The color is great and quality is so good. I was very impressed with how nice they were for the price I paid.

Title: Comfort and style
Review: I bought this to wear to the PA Ren Faire. First let me say that the colors in this are beautiful! I wore this all day and it was super comfortable. I was able to walk and sit with no problem, but at the same time it still made me feel snatched. The boning gives just enough support without being uncomfortable. I really like how you can adjust the length of the straps with the ribbon, as well as the ribbon corset detail in the back, which made the fit feel more custom to my shape. The side zipper made this super easy to take on and off, which helped when adjusting the corset for the best fit.

Review: the quality of this beautiful corset is unmatched!!! It is thick but not so much that I’m sweating my butt off at the faire. Definitely not stretchy, but that’s what a corset is made to be! The little zipper is hidden well but makes it so easy to slip off after your day out. The pattern is beautiful, and the sizing is perfect. This was so so flattering and I got many compliments!!!

Title: Super cute but need a smaller size
Review: 3 stars because Scarlett Darkness isn’t very size inclusive. I was so excited to get this, but it didn’t fit at all. I should have known since I’m a size 2, but I was hoping the smallest size would fit me. However, reviewing the garmet itself; it’s constructed very well, the fabric is high quality, and the print is beautiful. It’s a great value for how nice it is; I only wish I could have actually worn it. PLEASE MAKE MORE SIZES AVAILABLE (smaller and larger)

Review: The pros: This is an adorable bodice! I ordered the orange flower pattern and it looks beautiful and is easy to put on and off w/ the zipper. It has nice, simple ribbons and the price is great for a intro piece into cottagecore.The cons: it’s all polyester (which I know keeps the price low) so not a super high quality forever piece. It’s a bit short and even the smallest size they seem to have (a 6) is not quite tight enough for me. I have to lace it as tight as it goes and i wish i could do just a little more. I’m 5″9 and 130 lbs… if they sold this in a 4, I’d get it (but usually I’m a 6 or an 8).Overall, it’s great. Good value for the money and a great looking piece.
