Title: Great fit, great quality, great buy!
Review: I really like how this fit! I didn’t need to adjust it, but the back looked like it could be easily adjusted. The style was very flattering and it’s a high quality garment. I thought I’d wear it just for one event, but I’ll have to figure out how to work it into my regular wardrobe because I felt so pretty!

Review: I purchased several corsets from Scarlet Darkness as well as the dress pictured. The corsets are made of a sturdy thick material, the wiring is exactly like a corset should be, it keeps its shape perfectly, 10000% worth the money. The ribbon detail is so cute too & easy to adjust on sizing.

Review: I ordered this Scarlet Darkness Renaissance Corset Belt for Women Floral Boned Bustier Corset Belt for Dresses corset in the violet floral design because I love Scarlet Darkness corsets styling, and the soft floral evoked the promise of spring… right now, living in NYC mid-January, even the hint of spring sounds good to me.I love the Scarlet Darkness line a lot. I’ve only been aware of their clothes for about eighteen months, but I’ve really grown very fond of the line. Scarlet Darkness takes the best styling touches from different vintage periods and combines them with modern construction and styling choices. The resulting clothes and accessories and wonderful; sure, they’re ideal for costume/cosplay/RenFest, but you can also just wear these beautiful gowns and skirts and blouses and corsets everyday.All that, and at really great prices. I’m a bit busty up top; usually anything for the curvier girl in a corset is going to cost a lot of money. At its current price ($12.99) this is an unbelievably good bargain for a corset that has flexible boning and really laces. This isn’t just a stretchy, Velcro knock-off; you can really lace this for your own bespoke fit.This corset is made from a blend of 90% polyester/10% viscose. The fabric is smooth and sturdy; it is not particularly stretchy. The blended fabric is a clean, bright white with a grey and purple floral pattern filled with roses, smaller flowers, and foliage. The leaves are done in greyscale, and the flowers are a wide range of purple tones, from very pale pastels to dark shadow tones.The floral pattern is lovely, evocative of watercolors. Purple tends to tone warmer (with red undertones) or cooler (with blue undertones); this design incorporates both. The edge of the corset is lined with a cool blueish violet satin trim; the satin ribbon at the back for lacing is in this same cool, violet tone.The back of the corset has eight rows of silver grommets for lacing; you can adjust the silky ribbon laces until you find the best fit for your particular figure. The modesty panel behind the lacing is nearly 5” wide; this gives you extra coverage. The corset has inside channels, these hold flexible boning that I would guess is plastic. Many Scarlet Darkness belts and corsets have a side zipper; the one I received does not. However, the front hooks give you a quick on/off option, so you don’t need to redo your lacing constantly.The front of the corset has peaks at the top and the bottom. There are four silver metal hooks in the front; the silver harmonizes nicely with the grey tone and cooler purples in the floral design. Once you’ve adjusted the lacing to your figure, you can just use these front hooks; much faster than re-lacing.I’m a bit tricky to size; I’m an hourglass figure, larger up top. I wear a S/M in leggings, a 6 in jeans, a M in a tee, but I need at least a L if a top buttons down the front. I have a number of Scarlet Darkness corsets, so I knew that I needed to size to my bust; once that fit, I could adjust the rest with lacing. So that’s what I did. I ordered a size 14, because the triangular top of the corset is designed to come up under the bustline.The 14 was a bit large, but the back laces fixed that fit issue, and allowed me to pull in the corset enough to show my smaller waist. I tried this over a white Scarlet Darkness dress I own, and it looks so great. The corset’s lines are very flattering to my hourglass figure. The purple and white floral design is so fresh and springy. I love how this corset is very old school (floral print, satin ribbons, boning), but also has some cool, modern touches (the silver hardware on the front, the greyscale foliage, the purple and grey color scheme).You could totally wear this corset with jeans; it looks wonderful with a vintage styled dress, too. I still can’t believe the low price—this is a well built, sturdy corset with boning that actually laces, and it’s under $20!

Title: Great Corset Belt, If You Tighten Enough To Keep It Hooked
Review: I love to wear corset belts with dresses and certain skirts. I got this because my daughter has started wearing them too and she really wanted this one.HOW THIS COMESThis comes in a sealed plastic bag. It is folded up with a paper in the back of the belt folded up.COLORSThe colors are what I would call a very bright navy around the edges and a beautiful deep cobalt blue design in the fabric.FABRICThe fabric is tightly woven polyester with a little bit of texture that is somewhat satiny but still has a more matte appearance than satin has. It is thick and has good body to it. The edges are bound in a heavyweight satin ribbon that is a bright navy color. The back has a satin ribbon to tie it up.BACKThere is a back flap to this belt which keeps the area between the edges where the ties are, it covers what is being worn underneath. The only issue is that this is loose. There are no tacks holding it in place. I highly suggest tacking it place once you adjust it where you want it to keep it in place when putting the belt on. It is easier than trying to move it around when putting it on.FRONTThe front has metal hook and ball closure front on it. That means that you have to adjsut the belt to be tight enough so that it stays shut. Otherwise it will come apart if too loose as you move around.PERFORMANCEMy daughter loves the look of this. It is comfortable and very well made. It has a lot of possibilities to wear with different clothing she has and she is really having fun with it.FITShe wears a size 16 waist and this fits her well and adjusts comfortably.THE BOTTOM LINEThis is a really nice corset belt. It is comfortable and easy to wear. The back flap just has to be tacked down for better wearing ease.MY RATINGFIVE STARS. Despite the back flap having to be sewn into place, this is an excellent quality corset belt. It looks really nice and dresses up clothes nicely without looking necessarily vintage.

Title: Not plus size inclusive
Review: This really is a gorgeous piece but I will sadly have to return it because their largest size is just a smidge too small for me. Definite shame because it’s adorable and seems like good quality for the price. I will keep my eyes on this brand to see if they add larger sizes in the future.
