Title: Pretty and comfortable
Review: I’ve gone a little overboard with these underbust corset/waist cinchers recently, but this is the first one I’ve styled an outfit for and worn out. I felt very pretty and surprisingly comfortable. I’m tall (5’10”), but have a very short waist, so these very short corsets are for more comfortable for me than most.While I definitely wasn’t tight lacing at all, I easily got a 2″ reduction to my waist. The lacing is cheap satin ribbons, so I’m surprised the ties didn’t slip loose, but they held firm. There’s an interior waist tape to take pressure off the seams so that you can lace it up a bit snuggly. Please note that you can only reduce your waist if you’re squishy. Thin or athletic builds aren’t going to see any reduction at all with this corset (or most others). It’s just squishing your fat around.A note on sizing: the size the chart recommends will fit just snug when fully laced. If you want any reduction at all, or if you want the lacing to be open a bit, go down one size.If you’re struggling with the front claps, fasten the center first, then the top and bottom. It seems backwards, but the top or bottom will always pop open when you try to do the middle clasp. If you’re still struggling, loosen the lacing, do up all the claps at the same time, then tie up the laces again.

Title: Comfortable, Beautiful, and Well Made
Review: These underbust corsets are very good quality for this price, and very well made. The brocade is very beautiful, and it is fully boned at every seam, and has an interior stabilizer ribbon too. It is quite comfortable, and if you are petite like me and have had a hard time finding corsets or belts of this style, this might be for you! It’s a quick way to instantly make your outfit look more ‘cottagecore’ or possibly Sweet Gothic Lolita, depending on your other accessories.Note: if you want, you can actually go a size or two below your “true” waist size, especially if you want a clinching effect, or you want to showcase the lacing on the back. I made the mistake of getting one that is my perfect size, and so I can’t tighten it down any further.The item arrived on time and was well packaged, but not in a fancy bag or box, just wrapped in plastic. (I didn’t select gift wrap and don’t remember if that was an option.)I am very happy with my purchase and am considering buying another one in a different color.

Title: Cute and comfy
Review: I’ve been on the hunt for a corset belt for awhile and this really fits the bill. It’s very comfortable and I like the closures alot. I’m 210lbs 36″ waist 48″ hips and it fits like a glove without squeezing me. I hope they will make it in other fabrics and colors.

Review: The corset is very good quality. It takes a minute to figure out how to maneuver it around. I returned it because I didn’t like the color. The black looked like faded black denim.

Title: Runs small, short height
Review: The Scarlet Darkness Renaissance Corset has some positives, but there are a few things to keep in mind. The color options are beautiful and true to the images, which is a big plus. However, the sizing runs small, so I would recommend going up a size, especially if you’re taller than 5’3” or have a longer torso. The corset tends to feel proportionally short and may not sit comfortably for taller individuals.The fabric is a very tight knit with absolutely no stretch, which adds to the fit challenges. While the design looks nice, the overall quality is not the best—it feels a bit cheap compared to other corsets, but for the price, it’s decent. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly costume piece and don’t mind adjusting your expectations, this corset can work, but be prepared for some limitations in fit and comfort.

Title: Ties things together and adds color theme!
Review: This waist cincher with red-orange flowers and dark green leaves ties the burnt orange skirt to the dark green skirt when worn together. Adds color to the green skirt, and adds an autumn feeling to any chosen style (I don’t use it for the steampunk look because I have other choices)I purchased 2 skirts, 3 blouses, a corset, waist cincher, and a double breasted vest, with the idea they are the foundation pieces to a full costuming wardrobe.I can mix and match, the skirts can be worn together as well as separately. The blouses and overgarmets allow a variety of styles!My ideas: Garden witch (dark pointy hat, wand, dark boots), fairy matron (flower crown, basket, pointy ears, wings), steampunk (goggles, medals, gears, top hat, stashbook, gloves), renaissance (basket, stash belt, parasol), pirate (handfan weapon, short sword, boots, wonky hat, booty belt equipped with liers dice and mug), hedgewitch (pocketed cape equipped with tarot deck and runes, staff, snap poppers)
