Title: Beautiful Dress
Review: I originally bought the XL (normally I am a XL or 2X) and it was awkwardly baggy. Returned it and got the L and it fits perfectly. The fabric feels really nice and it seems like the dress will be very versatile. I might have to buy another one or two in different colors. I do wish that the cinching on the chest had the ability to give more cleavage, but it’s still cute either way.

Title: My new favorite dress!
Review: I love these dresses! Very flattering for an hourglass shape. It’s even slightly adjustable. It’s slightly large on me, but I can pull the strings on the sides and front to fit it to my form. I got multiple colors when these were on sale, and I wish the black would come back in stock! Unlike some other dresses from this brand, this material is substantial and doesn’t feel plasicy or costumey. It’s not super breathable, but it’s lightweight enough for warm days and thick enough that it could be worn in winter with some layering. It’s reminiscent of linen but doesn’t wrinkle quite as much. If you were to hang this up hot out of the dryer, my guess is that you wouldn’t have to steam it. I don’t have a dryer so I do steam mine a little bit after air drying. It’s “wearable” cottagecore fashion that you can garden in or dress up more for a special occasion. I’m a bargain shopper, so I plan to get more colors when there’s another sale. But if you need this immediately, it would probably be worth getting at full price.

Title: Really a lovely dress
Review: This is a very lovely dress, very well made. I was very shocked at how well structured it is, the good quality of the fabric, the fit was very very nice. I ordered the navy blue one and it was a gorgeous color. I always worry that fabric and fit will be terrible for clothing from Amazon, but this was excellent. The fabric was not that crappy clingy stuff. I love it.

Title: So cute and comfortable!
Review: I love this dress! It’s quality material, a nice length, and comfortable. Because the sides have the ties, you can adjust it a little to fit better if it’s a little big. I started with a medium but had to exchange for a small. I could make the medium fit by adjusting the side laces but then had to lace them so tight you couldnt see the detail of the lacing. The small fits perfectly.

Review: Fantastic quality!! Thick, heavy, and beautiful fabric. Has a built in slip so it flows beautifully and has… POCKETS!! The sides and front strings are all adjustable, and it fits great! Fantastic for layering too. Great value for the money. I would buy it again and again!

Title: Cute, but runs small.
Review: Runs small. I had to return.The dress is super cute. Material is soft and decent quality. I suggest sizing up. It zips in the back, no opportunity to expand by loosening the lacings. The tightness is in the chest/ribcage area.

Title: This dress is the one!
Review: I absolutely LOVE this dress!! I don’t know what people are talking about saying it’s a cheap costumey like material because it is not! The stitching is really nicely done and secure, the fabric has a great weight and drape to it, the pockets are well done and deep enough that your phone doesn’t fall out when you move, fully lined, it’s light and airy, doesn’t trap hot air around your legs and long enough to be able to bend over and work without flashing anyone. I wear this dress outside to do cottagecore hobby farm stuff with my chickens, I wear it downtown and I would probably wear it to the Ren Fair too but it’s definitely not restricted to that.As far as sizing it’s accurate BUT it’s actual sewing sizes, not the Chinese fashion sizes we’re used to buying on Amazon. So I would normally have to order an XL In fashion sizes because they’re always small but Scarlet Darkness actually adheres to real sizing based on measurements so a 14 is a large not an XL. So definitely look at their actual sizing chart before ordering. I made the mistake of just ordering regular tiny clothes sizing and it was too big, so I looked at the chart, ordered a large and now it’s PERFECT! Probably one of my best fitting pieces of clothing I own. I’m the pictures I paired it with the suspender belt from this same company and I felt so cute! They really go well together. Hope this review was helpful!Edit: after washing this dress many times it’s still holding up great! I machine wash it on cold and hang dry. If there’s any wrinkles (which there always will be straight out of the bag) just hit them with a steamer and they come right out. Hope this is helpful!
