Title: Not the best maternity fit
Review: Review for the pregnant ladies looking for cheaper maternity wear for events!Pre-pregnancy sizes: XS/S, 110lb, A cup, 5’3”27 weeks pregnant in pics, but I get big fast, so closer to what many look like near birth. Bought size 8 Material is thin and slippery and sewing seems a bit uneven, but the dress is lined and feels somewhat solid.Stretches to fit over my bump by scrunching up the rib cage area. Although I think the bottom half is cute and potentially flattering, the breast area is really strangely proportioned. There is no support or boning or padding, and the position of the “pockets” don’t make sense. It would be difficult to find a proper bra to help with the shape because of the lacing area. There were awkward little pouches of cloth underneath my breasts, making them look more saggy than they are after breastfeeding my last baby. There is LOTS of bump room, though! Falls somewhere between maxi and midi length.I think a taller and more medium-breasted woman would likely fit this better, even during pregnancy! Not my choice for the wedding I need to attend, though, since it just isn’t flattering on me haha

Title: Beautiful, fabric could be better quality
Review: The dress is beautiful! So well made, it’s flowy and flattering, I’m in love with the style. I don’t particularly care for the fabric, it feels a bit cheap to me, but the type of fabric usually doesn’t wrinkle too bad and makes it perfect to put in a travel bag.

Title: It has pockets!
Review: This is the third dress I’ve gotten from Scarlet Darkness and they all have pockets! And are comfortable! The fabric on this one is a kind of silky feel (not silk tho), and the color is pretty true to the product photos. You can see from the photo of my back that I probably need to adjust the shoulder straps some, but also that there’s elasticity in the back torso panel. None in the waist though. I like that the shoulder straps are a bit wider than the usual spaghetti straps, I think it’s a nicer look.I got a medium and it fits perfectly (I have a size 30 1/2” waist and 37” bust). I’d say you probably wouldn’t want a medium if your waist is bigger, but there’s a bit of room for a bigger bust.

Review: This is a fun dress. I like the pattern and the overall design.The material is pretty good, but I think the trend nowadays to use super thin material has its upsides and downsides. It feels comfortable but might be a bit thin for some people’s tastes.It all depends on your personal taste.

Title: Odd fit

While the fabric print is beautiful, the dress itself isn’t flattering at all on my body type. It appears to be designed for a taller figure with a larger bust.I typically wear a size 12 dress and this one did technically fit, but the bust area was odd and not at all what I expected. I’ve owned other dresses with a lace-up design on the front that really flatter a smaller chest, but this one just seems to have too much material, my B-cups are lost. I’d say a C- or D-cup would work best, as a DD would likely struggle to stay in the dress. Additionally, there’s zero support from the dress itself. If you’ve got sagging, I think this is going to be problematic.The length of this one was strange too. It feels like it wants to be a midi dress, but it’s too long. To be fair, I only stand at 5’5” tall, so on someone taller, it might look better. On me it just looks like a maxi dress that’s too short.Overall, I wouldn’t really recommend this option. While the fabric is cute, the rest of the experience fell short for me.

Review: I am completely in love with this designer.This dress is light and airy, but also feels like it has substance to it. It is well constructed.this dress flatters many figure types.This designer has somehow managed to add substantial sized pockets without adding any bulk to the dress, or even being able to tell the pockets are there.the cut and the color/design is just beautiful, you can look edgy and angelic at the same time!If you have a chance to get this dress or any others from this designer
