Title: Moisturizing, easy to apply, smells good (if you like essential oils)
Review: Iâve never used tallow cream before & so far I like it. When I first read the ingredients, I was weary & not sure what to expect in term of smell & texture, but itâs been great. The balm is firm in the jar, but it warms up easily in my fingers & easy to apply. If you donât put a lot on, it absorbs quickly & isnât too greasy. A little balm goes a long way. It smells like lavender & other essential oils-something one might apply during a massage. It provides a lot of moisture & seems to have slightly decreased my fine wrinkles somewhat in the week that I have been using it. My skin seems to be more radiant. I only apply it at night because it feel like itâs too heavy during the day since I apply sunscreen every day. It comes with a small wooden spatula to scoop out the balm. The price isnât bad considering all the ingredients that go into making this.

Title: UNUSUAL BUT MAYBE IT WORKS
Review: The ingredients are a bit strange. Stranger that I would be applying this on my face but to be honest I am not always sure what goes on my face with other products so I do like the transparency that the ingredients are listed but also upfront. I was able to research everything in this jar. A definite plus.Texture is on the medium to light side. Not anything like a facial lotion but also not quite a petroleum jelly. It’s a bit like butter actually. A little goes a long way. There is not the necessity to grab so much product because it spreads well and is thick enough to provide full coverage. Light enough to feel like the skin can breathe in comparison to other products that are similar.The smell is okay. Nothing medicinal. Nothing to do with beef which I am thankful for. I don’t think I could have stomached it.How it feels on my face has me mixed about. It’s a bit greasy. The level of greasiness is just something that I don’t feel comfortable using while I am sleeping. I have to keep my hair completely away from my face or else it just feels messy. I applied very little just so that I can really blend it into the skin to get better absorption so the feeling went away quicker. A learning process. Still, I am not a fan of how it feels especially when I have to try and sleep in a certain position so as not to get uncomfortable and messy.As for results….and to determine if the greasiness is well worth it….I’d say it’s so nice for moisturizing. It’s pretty incredible because I do suffer from eczema and extremely dry skin overall on my face. My skin is always left soft and replenished the next day and it lasts. I don’t need other moisturizers during the day on my face. I don’t know about it making my skin look younger, but it certainly makes it feel younger.

Title: Feels great on dry skin, and made in the USA.
Review: The texture of this tallow balm surprised me a little. While reminiscent of petroleum jelly, it’s petroleum-free, which is good, as petroleum can clog pores, and this stuff does not. It actually reminds me of Bag Balm, a very thick, heavy product intended to moisturize and hydrate extremely dry, cracked skin. This stuff isn’t anywhere near as heavy or thick, but it is similar in color and texture. But it does feel very soothing on my skin. I wish it didn’t leave the slightly greasy-looking sheen behind, but I use this on my face only at night, so it’s okay, really. And it does leave a nice glow. This stuff is made in the USA and it’s pretty affordable, especially since a little goes a long way. Oh, and the cute little wooden spatula is a nice addition!The only little complaint I have about this stuff is that the pricing seems to be swinging quite a bit right now. At the moment, it’s priced at $33, but when I ordered, it was $20. Watch for a sale. 😉

Title: Was pleasantly surprised by this
Review: I had always been leery about trying skin care products made with beef tallow since the thought of putting it on my face grossed me out. I expected it would smell like beef and have a greasy fat like texture.After reading time and time again how beneficial this ingredient was I decided to give it a try. To my surprise it didnât have a meat or bad smell to it whatsoever and I found it actually smelled quite good. Iâve been using it nightly for a week now and although itâs too soon to speak to its anti-aging benefits, I have noticed a big difference in the overall look and feel of my skin. I use it at night and by morning my face still feels super soft and thereâs no longer patches of dry skin. It also gives my face a healthy glow and it just feels more youthful. Iâm pretty impressed with this formula and will continue using it for the above mentioned benefits and in the hopes of it reducing the signs of aging.

Title: You only need a tiny amount and it provides so much moisture
Review: Simple Sophistication Tallow | Emu | Honey Balms Gentle, Natural with Vitamin C, CoQ10, Resveratrol, Antioxidants. I love beef tallow balms but for the most part I don’t use them on my face. I find them to be too heavy for my facial skin. But it works perfectly for my neck and décolleté area. It takes awhile to fully absorb but you will have the softest skin ever. The ingredients in this balm are geared for night time use and anti-aging, which is obvious when you can see that the original name for the product was anti-aging night cream. One thing that I found interesting in the ingredients is Melatonin. I have never used melatonin in a topical product so I don’t know how much effect it really has since I am using so little product at a time. But apparently it is great for skin and topical use doesn’t make you sleepy so I don’t have to worry about using it in the morning.

Title: USA MADE, A BIT GREASY, BUT EFFECTIVE
Review: Love to support USA made products!First time to try tallow moisturizer ( and Emu). I only apply this at night because it IS greasy, but the results are well worth it. My pores appeared smaller and overall skin looked more plump and soft- after first use!I wish they would make a daytime formula that wasn’t as greasy, but for now. I’m going to keep using this at night.Excellent moisturizer.
