People put on an accent for the person in front of you to understand better. If an American guy speaks hindi with in his american accent the native hindi speaker would probably not understand most of the words. That's it. There's nothing wrong to put an accent unless you do it incorrectly or try to mock.
When you work/ study in a country which isn't your home country and start interacting with the people from there, you automatically start picking up their culture, accent and lifestyle. You don't tend to realise it unless you think much about it. I think this is exactly what happened to Priyanka. People calling her out for her "fake accent and newly found culture", just admit that you dislike her. This is how human behaviour works, in simple terms.

people comparing her looks from then and now seriously you guys need to stop. makeup trends have changed so much over the years and mind you it's been 20 years so it's normal for the natural appearance to change as well. also, her accent changes are also normal. it's psychologically natural to change your accent to sound like the people you are talking to. even someone who has no acting ability can do it so calm yourselves.
She has always been this confident. Thats whay makes her stand out even now.

Few people are so dumb rather thn focusing on her words or her thoughts they just randomly starts to mock someone on their accent ..we need to understand when we speak Hindi even our accent varies from state to state and its completely okay
