  1. Also congrats to Vietnam
for being a power house once again in 2023:
    Miss Supra: 4th runner up
Miss Grand International: 3rd runner up
    Miss Earth: 2nd runner up
    Miss Intercontinental: 2nd Runner up
Miss International: Top 15(total scores ranked at top 8)

  2. I always appreciate your comments, Luis, and the comprehensive summarization of everything about pageantry in 2023. The Philippines, my country, performed exceptionally well in all the pageants held last year. The contestants were impeccably wonderful and transformative in their own ways, showcasing equipped skills and knowledge to represent the country effectively. Despite the pressure from fellow countrymen, they proved they are truly deserving representatives. Kudos to all delegates still about to compete internationally, like Gwen for Miss World – you've got this! To the ladies preparing for local or provincial pageants to vie for the title of Miss Universe Philippines 2024, wish you all the best. It's another year for pageant enthusiasts to focus, dedicatedly devoting time to coverage and updates. Best of luck to you, Luis, for this year, and know that you always inspire me as well. Thank you!

  3. FILIPINAS no longer a Powerhouse.
They didn't win any Big 6 Pageants in the last 5 Years.

The last time this happened was in 2004.

In 2005, Lara won Mi, and since then Philippine win at least a single crown before 5 Year Period wraps up

  4. I agree with everything you said except for one about Yllana's answer. We should never restrict our girls on how to answer questions to satisfy minority of people. Its true not everyone can speak and understand English well but we should also consider majority of people can understand English too. Are we going to lower those people's intelligence to accommodate those who can't understand? How about those English speaking countries do they need to talk broken English to win? Its like a smart girl pretending to be stupid? So, i think its not Yllana's fault for being smart like what other people are saying. Its just that judges liked Ms. Albania more than Yllana that night not because she gave the best answer but probably she looks better than Yllana that night (just a little bit).
By the way nice photos with our queens!

  5. NICOLE : a Miss International prototype. I thought she would win but I am so proud of Nicole for placing 3rd runner up at Miss International

GWEN: Of all the queens featured here, she's the one I met in person. She is so beautiful especially in person. I wish her the best in her upcoming pageant at Miss World.

YLLANA: No critique for this lady. I have no complaints. She is the complete package but I think it wasn't her destiny to win that night. Her skills are never questioned.

PAULINE: My sentimental veteran queen. She is the literal meaning of dedication. She almost snatched the crown but I am so proud of this Queen.

MICHELLE: OMG! She's the same level as Pia and Catriona to be honest. Truly deserving not only the Top 5 but also The Top 3 and the crown as well. Michelle exceeded expectations. Her whole team deserves a big congratulations. Michelle is now an icon of Philippine pageantry, with or without the crown. A winner indeed.

  6. I AM FROM INDIA 🇮🇳 AND AGREE WITH YOU PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭 IS THE POWERHOUSE WHEN IT COMES TO PEAGEANTS AND FILIPIONS THE BEST SUPPORTERS LOVE PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭 FROM INDIA 🇮🇳 LOVE UR VLOGS LUIS

  7. Your comments are really unbiased as in there are two sides of a coin. Totally agree that Philippines is Top 1 in being a Legitimate Powerhouse of Beauty and Brains, no doubt about that🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

  8. I'd rather have Philippines women become soccer players than take part in pageant and it's clear they more attract attention than taking part in pageants supported by toxic pageant lovers .

  9. Everyon please subscribe and let's help Luis get to 300,000 , this man as we've all seen , worked so hard and gave his heart and all every time. 10. LUIS PORTELLES….Do you have BALLS or not MAN enough to MAN UP that MICHELLE DEE was robbed of the title, or you're in favor of this crazy owner's COOKING SHOW? CAN'T YOU SAY IT LIKE IT IS, THAT THIS SHOW HAS BECOME A JOKE AND A COOKING SHOW? You as a BADING to another BADING is agreeing/accepting this dishonesty act of this CRAZY ID……T'S handling of this organization who continue to tarnish the credibility of this major pageantry?

Are you going to CONTRADICT Michelle mother's final analysis/judgement of what went on during the pageantry while she was there personally experiencing and observing what was happening? ACCORDING TO HER, MICHELLE WAS TO BE IN THE FINAL FIVE, BUT WAS IMMEDIATELY SWITCHED WITH MS. THAILAND and when the hosts were having controversy and realized they made a mistake and was about to change to the REAL TOP 5, they were told by this CRAZY OWNER WANNA BE WOMAN, not to change it and to let it go because obviously she was behind this this COOKING SHOW. THIS IS ACCORDING TO MICHELLE'S mother when she finally revealed during her ONE on ONE Interview. WATCH IT so can get your EDUCATION of what TRULY HAPPENED. You claimed you were there and where were you when this was happening?

BY THE WAY, MICHELLE'S MOTHER DO NOT CONSIDER THIS CRAZY MS. BADING AS A "WOMAN." "HE" IS NOTHING BUT A WANNA BE WOMAN WHO THINKS HE IS.

  11. Hi Luis. I’ve been following your vlog. Thank you for supporting the Philippines. And for your honest comment regarding our beauty candidates. I’m filipina who lives in the UK. I love watching your Vlog especially covering the footage of MU and Miss Earth. I really Love Yllana. I was rooting for her to win the Miss Earth therefore i was happyfor her Title Miss Air. Miss Albania deservered the title as well. Her Q&A final question was also brilliant so undoubtedly she won the competition. Congratulations to both Beauty queen. God bless you Luis and more power to your Vlog

  12. Philippines is slowly following the footsteps of venezuela, where it will remain a powerhouse but will have a hard time winning a crown…but i agree, philippines is undoubtedly among the strongest in beuaty pageants. And certainly the force to be battled up against in asia.
