  1. Just thinking about the time my siblings and I asked my parents for chore money (since my cousins were doing it). They said something along the lines of “you don’t need money for chores, you don’t pay bills. What do you need the money for” 💀 that’s all it took. They always have something to say that immediately humbles ourselves; why we clean without being told.

  2. Paying for chores is crazy… now my parent's did and didn't pay me.. we had the chores we had to do everyday and we got nothing for chores because that was us just paying our dues for living there and making messes.. and then there was extra chores and projects that needed to be done around the house and we could choose to do those for some cash or we didn't do those jobs and not get paid
