I disagree with your list. Some people on it are less popular than others. And one has crossed over to a field that has impacted her reputation more than the beauty queen that she used to be.
Kataluna is a breakthrough personality but is far from iconic. Her persona is novelty.
Only Priscilla Meirelles is the Miss Earth queen that became famous even after her reign, and she is Brazilian. She rose to fame by staying in the Philippines to model, do some hosting jobs, and became the housewife of TV and movie actor John Estrada.
Vida Doria's foray in pageantry is already eclipsed by the career that she's made for herself after her reign, in the fashion and retail industry.
Catriona participated in 4 international pageants. She was also Little Miss Philippines (Australia) 1999 and Miss Teen Model Australia 2009.
Ruffa Gutierrez lived most of her showbiz career under her image as a Miss World 1993 2nd Princess.
Miriam Quiambao was the replacement queen to Janelle Bautista and became iconic as the queen who fell down during prelims at Miss Universe 1999 but stood back up with grace.
Venus Raj was the lone dethroned Binibini queen who succeeded to regain her title and placed Miss Universe 2010 4th Runner-Up with many.screaming Filipino fans because she ended the Ph placement drought at Miss Universe from 2000 to 2009.
Shamcey Supsup was iconic for her Tsunami Walk at Miss Universe 2011.
Charlene Gonzalez was iconic for her "Low Tide or High Tide?" answer during her Q&A at the finals of Miss Universe 1994 in Manila.
Melanie Marquez was a blooper in gab but she was triumphant, one of the tallest Pinay queens, and the youngest Pinay queen during her reign being only 16. Her reign had its intrigues because some critics looked at her past work in sexy movies. But after her reign as Miss International 1979, she crossed over to fashion modeling and New York, where she won 1st Runner-Up at a prestigious modeling competition and got signed to Ford Modeling Agency, where she became a supermodel. Recently, her daughter Michelle Dee got crowned as Miss World Philippines 2019, proving that she inherited her mother's beauty and poise.
I think you forgot Kylie Verzosa for Miss International, but use her for your content 🤣
Angelia Ong Miss Earth 2015, the first back to back winner from the Philippines. ♥️
My favorite will always be Catriona Gray <3 That lava walk is so ICONIC!
Learned a lot here as a new pageant fan. Let's go Philippines!
