I’ve been watching Miss USA and Miss Universe since 1973 – never missed a year.
There are by far more elegant and timeless gowns not featured in this video. Only one passed the test for me – as the best evening gowns ever.
To each their own, but this list has a lot to be desired.

For me it was the 2nd half of the 80's through the 90's. Before that everything just looked the same and plain. And now there are good dresses, but some are just so awful with so many cut outs or the slits so high that they may as well not have the dress. I agree with some on the list, others I thought, mah I've seen better, and others I would have tossed in the shreader, but we all have opinions on them.
Iowa and Nebraska were stunning
And so was Arizona, Tennessee and of course my home state, Illinois
Pathetic, I seen better n gorgeous dresses than these!

My favorite was Miss Oklahoma USA 2010
The gown in actually repeat itself, but the hairstyle and the makeup is totally makes dramatic and magical changes the entire look…!!!

The fact that Chelsie Smith, Carol Gist, Kenya Moore, Brooke Lee, Crystal Stewart, Tiana Griggs, Megan Pinckney, and others werent mentioned at all in this vid says alot. No beautiful black women AT ALL. And yes this is a color issue and im making full awareness of it 😡😤

North Dakota 2014 is one of the most iconic with that green dress 💚

My ABSOLUTE favorite gown in the 29 years I’ve watched pageants is miss South Dakota 2016 an AMAZING white an blue ombré designer gown that reportedly cost thousands it’s not known if it was borrowed or actually purchased for her? So stunning☺☺☺👍👍
The style of the gowns is constantly changing. But the elegance and confidence is still present!
