Title: Such a good dress. Fits beautifully & surprisingly flattering
Review: I was unable to keep this dress due to a change in plans. Here are my concerns & observations:First, the fabric is fairly heavy as you’d expect with sequins but it’s good fabric. Sequins are well secured and edges are finished well, so I didn’t experience any shedding during try on and felt secure that I would not during wear.Second, I ordered a 2x and was concerned about fit. I usually avoid anything with an elasticized waist because it can be very unflattering on larger sizes. I’d read reviews saying it was too short as well. I found the elastic waist to be not noticeable at all and it sat at my natural waist. I also found it to be a very flattering length. Above the knee by a little. So, yes it’s on the shorter side but I would not feel uncomfortable moving in it. For reference, I’m 5’6” and wear an 18/20 ish, 46DD.Which reminds me, the neckline would have needed some tape to hold it in place, since this was for A Work Thing.The cut is so nice that even though I’m nearly 50 and seem to be losing some waist definition, it gave the impression of an hourglass figure.I haven’t put on a dress that fit so well in a long time, and definitely not in this price range. I loved how I felt in it and was disappointed to return it. Unfortunately I don’t foresee myself needing a silver sequined dress again in the near future. It’s too bad, because I didn’t expect to love how I looked in this dress.

Review: Personally, the brown sequin color did not do anything for me. In my opinion, it would better suit someone with a fairer complexion. In addition, I’m on the curvy,petite side (5’1″) and I got the xl. I feel it’s meant for someone taller as there’s excess fabric at the sleeves. I believe it’s a good quality dress, it just didn’t suit me.
