Review: Edit to update: the smaller crown is metal as well and just as well made as the large one. Original review still shown in full below.Original review: I’ll say up front that we have a learning curve with this crown because we’ve only ever used the ones with combs attached. However, the crown itself is sturdy and well made. The metal frame is attached to the crown itself very well and it even comes with glue for repairs if necessary. I believe that the glue is for reattaching the jewels, but the fact that it was included is great! It also came with bobby pins for securing it to hair styles. The box that it was shipped in kept the crown secure and safe and it will work great for storage. The smaller crown is plastic but still well made. My daughter will be using it on her 18″ doll and is excited about that.My only real issue is that it doesn’t fit head shapes well, though this may be our lack of experience talking. My second daughter and I have narrow heads and my oldest has a large head. It doesn’t fit any of us well and we can’t adjust it without risking breaking anything. On the narrower heads there’s extra space and on the larger head it sits funny or squeezes too tightly.

I order tiaras at least once a year because I host events where titleholder winners are awarded tiaras as part of their prize packages. I have ordered many tiaras as well as crowns. I often find that the tiaras or crowns are too small for adult size heads and must be returned. These have a beautiful fit! The additional small crown is a very nice touch that I have not run across before! I like that it can be a used as a souvenir or an actual additional crown to be worn. This mini crown would look great around a bun, braid or pony tail. These are encrusted beautifully with numerous sparkling rhinestones and pearls. The silver metal is brilliant and shiny. This whole piece just gleams and totally catches the light! The maker included a very nice set of bobby pins to secure these lovely pieces into fancy hair styles and up-doos or to just to fasten them in your hair.At the asking price of $14.99 when ordered, I consider these to be a fantastic value! You get a normal adult sized brilliant and beautiful tiara, as well as a smaller crown, and all the bobby pins to secure them to your head. The maker also thoughtfully included a tube of glue in case any stones or pearls become loose. I did not come across any loose or missing stones or pearls, and there were no loose ones inside the box.Another perk about ordering these tiaras over some of the others is that they come inside a lovely box with cushion and padding. This box can be kept for safe and dust-free long time storage of your head pieces. Title: Gorgeous, high quality with tons of sparkle
Review: This set of tiaras comes at a super reasonable price and is absolutely gorgeous!! This looks like a MUCH more expensive set. It is ornate and has stunning sparkle. The large tiara fits beautifully on the head and has holes at the ends to pin into the hair to keep it in place. It is sturdy and flawless but not super heavy. The small crown is perfect for over a bun or for a small child. When I opened the box with these my daughters gasped and begged to put them on. These come at a costume price, but do NOT look like a costume item. They are absolutely breathtaking. They would be wonderful for a wedding, onstage, a pageant or costume and look luxe and very real. I have ordered another set for my daughters who keep taking them out of my closet! I would highly recommend these beautiful tiaras. You will be super pleased with the look and the quality!
