  1. They look older in these headshots. Only Maryland fits the category and her natural look gives the idea of her being the youngest little sister of other contestants here, it's like Jane Bennett or Beth to their older sisters

  2. Now that I see these headshots, Alabama is the one that stands out the most to me because she looks gorgeous, very fresh and youthful. Also, Nevada, California, Maryland, Florida, and Ohio also look very teen but I'm rooting for Alabama to win Miss Teen USA. Seeing the headshot of Alabama reminds me of Shandi Finnessey when she competed at Miss USA and Miss Universe in 2004. Like a Barbie doll coming to life.

  3. Hi Dani…. Any thoughts on Miss America Outstanding Teen??? The buzz is MAOT Morgan Greco could be the first to win teen & Miss should she choose to compete. I thought she was flawless!

  4. I was screaming to the rooftop that my daughter made a Dani Walker video 🎉🎉🎉…her first ever pageant and all we did was watch your videos to prepare (since we were literally clueless on what to do or what system we were even in at the time lol) 6 months later and we’re going to Miss Teen USA!! All the girls are amazing and bring a uniqueness to the stage, I’m so excited to cheer my Janae on along with the rest of the girls!!! Thanks Dani you made my day🫶🏾

  5. Loved this! They’re all so beautiful and classy. Would you consider doing more Ms content? I’m 38 and can’t seem to find alot of vids on my category ❤️❤️❤️

  6. I think Nevada is BREATHTAKING! This is not only her first year competing in the USA system, it’s her actual first year competing in pageants. She won her first pageant ever, a preliminary, and went to state and stole the judges hearts. In person she looks very youthful and age appropriate, but this glam shot is everything!!!

  7. So happy to see Arizona included here. We're definitely not a powerhouse state so it's nice to see our Teen titleholder get some recognition from someone like Dani whose knowledge and experience is vast. It's been a seriously long time since AZ had a national titleholder. Maybe this will be the year. Competition is definitely fierce with all the seasoned contestants but MTUSA is one of the contests where a dark horse can sneak in and capture the crown as judges are more inclined to be looking for authenticity, humility and compassion.

  8. I'm with Dani on this one 100%. For me, a teen contestant needs to look like a teen. I understand this can be a challenge for a young lady who is 18 or 19 because she is in fact a woman and not a girl. However in this instance there is no need for them to try to look older or more mature. They can just be their natural selves and let their youthful beauty shine through. — I recall a year, a couple decades back, I think it was 2000 when Jillian Perry from Pennsylvania was crowned MTUSA, that one of the contestants was at the top of the competition up until the evening gown competition. She came out in this beautiful black sleeveless dress and, although she had her hair in a ponytail, she easily looked like she was in her early 20s. And it was more noticeable when she was standing next to the other contestants. Don't know how much that contributed to her placement, but it shifted my attention to the other contestants who I perceived as more appropriate for a teen title.

  9. All so beautiful! I do agree that the more makeup one wears the more mature one appears. I have pics from high school where I was 16 but could have seriously passed for 25. I wore so much face makeup.

  10. Between the top ten and the honorable mentions, it was honestly nice to see so many of my personal list for top 16 contestants mentioned! I will say, it's overall arguably my favorite group of contestants as a whole, and that's saying something, so I wish all of them well in their future endeavors, but it definitely was nice seeing that I'm not the only one who sees some of the truly incredible young ladies in such a great light!

  11. I’m a big fan of sophia nawaz from Louisiana. She’s competing soon for the la title. She’s a cross over from America. She won miss la OT 2021-2022 and of course my daughters BFF 😌lol. Jesse will compete, God willing, for MLAOT again this year. She was 1st runner up to Mary Laura Hunt this year. In other words…say a prayer y’all!! 🥰

    UTAH IS FLAWLESS IMO!!!! 👑👑
