Mike has always been misunderstood, but by his own admission, some of it was his own doing. I don't like to hear excuses from people, but the actual explanation starts in his childhood from birth.
He is an American that has been through thick and thin, and is not the airhead people assume him to be. He is funny, articulate, intelligent, a father and he has a good heart. As a lifetime fan, I have always wanted to see things go well for him. Even the current heavyweight champion of the world was named after him! 😎

Mike is one tortured soul. I was terrified of him as a kid watching him take down guys shockingly quick. Heck I'm stiff afraid of him in Punch Out. I truly hope he continues to heal.
