I think its important to have miss universe be an ethnic person to the country… Ukrainians, Serbians, Finnish, chinese, somali, congolese, egyptian, ETC.
I am from Somalia, and I don't want to see a white person representing us. I don't want to see a middle eastern person representing china… regardless if they are born there or not. This is not a french woman ethnically… so how can she represent French beauty ? Can a white woman represent a somali woman looks wise? Can a middle eastern person represent what its like to be a beautiful chinese woman?

I agree with many comments, she deserves to be the next Miss Universe ! The best body of all contestants this year, and walked better than the others, in the bikini for exemple. Her dresses and costumes were so much classy and chic ! Better smile, more charming than many too. Miss South Africa was not as pretty. She should have been among the 3 finalists.
