Vanessa Williams has endured so much negative in her life, but is has been like the best cream, which always comes out on top! Not only has she had to cope with being a black beauty queen in a white world, but she has had to compete in the world of entertainment as a woman when being a woman 40 yr. ago in this business was very risky! What a wonderful role model for women, and women from all walks of life! Thank you from the bottom of my 75 yr.old,.white woman heart!
She didn't just receive backlash by whites etc. but said she was more hurt by the backlash she rec'd from blacks.
