Title: Such a pretty dress
Review: It’s beautiful. My daughter looks gorgeous in it and can’t wait to wear it for her end of the year banquets. It has a dropped waist and a flapper type look to it that she loves. Just enough sparkle and movement. She is 5’8 and it just dusts the floor while she walks barefoot. It’ll be perfect with some small heels she already has picked out.

Title: Not quite as pictured but good enough for a company Xmas party
Review: The image shows a clear front and back to the dress. If you took the bodice apart you’d have two different pieces.The actual dress is completely symmetrical. Front and back are identical. There’s not even a tag and the zipper is on the side. I laughed when I saw it but tried it on anyway. It actually fits pretty well and looks nice! I wish it had even just a little shaping around the waist. It’s a straight sheath, but stretchy, so if you have a classic hourglass figure this will look great. If you don’t, I’m not sure. It really is pretty shapeless on its own.I made folks on tday vote for their fave between this one and another type of dress to help me choose which one to keep and which to send back. This dress won so I’ll be wearing it to the Xmas party.

Title: with sequins that held up valiantly
Review: I read a lot of reviews of this product before placing my order. It arrived in a timely manner. As expected, it was inches too long for me, but I already knew that from the reviews. I had time to get it altered and I wanted the inner opaque layer to be shorter than the decorated mesh to avoid stepping on it. After all, I am not used to long gowns and hate hitching it up whenever an obstacle like stairs and curbs are in my way.The remarkable feature of the gown was not one sequin fell off! In my research of gowns on Amazon, sequined dresses that cost three times more always have complaints of a trail of sequins following the gown wearer.In this case, no sequins were left in my room, living room, and even the bathrooms that I visited during the event itself.The gown was very comfortable and was very light, even with the temperature in the 80s. Because of this, one can be a social butterfly and confidently enjoy the formal event without anything pinching or itching.However, if one has batwings like me, the sleeves barely disguised my arms. If one feels strongly about one’s arms flapping, I suggest getting a very similar dress with flared, loose sleeves. I think I saw one or two, but were not available in my preferred color.

Title: Beautiful but cut VERY SMALL
Review: This dress is truly beautiful and has a great period look. The beading is gorgeous, and the sheer net at the hem would be easy to shorten if necessary: just trim it to the right length.However, ordering it in my customary size resulted in a dress that is about three sizes too small.If you don’t need actual women’s sizes, you can have a great dress. Just remember that the dress is made in China to Chinese sizing specifications.If you are an American small, medium, or large, it will work for you — you just have to order a larger size that you are accustomed to. If you regularly wear a small, you will probably need to order a size large. If you wear an American medium, order an XL or 1XL, depending on how snugly a medium fits you. If you wear an American large, you will probably need to order an XXL.If you wear American plus sizes, you will not be able to wear this dress at all. There is no stretch in the fabric, so you cannot expect that you can squeeze into it if you order too small a size.I do envy the women who can wear it. I love the design.

Review: This dress is perfect for me it came on time. I ordered an XL I am size 16/18 uk size and it fits perfectly, I just needed to cut the hem to my height, which was easy to do. I am an older woman of 64 and wanted it for a murder mystery weekend 1930’s. Perfect.
