A NEW MISS USA HAS BEEN CROWNED!!!

R’Bonney Gabriel from TEXAS was crowned Miss USA 2022 on 3 October 2022.

What you may not know is that she was a Runner-Up at Miss Texas USA 2021.

R’Bonney is taking over from Elle Smith and will be representing the United States of America at Miss Universe 2022.

She will be up against more than 70 other contestants from all over the world including Celeste Cortesi who is Miss Universe Philippines 2022 as well as Divita Rai who will represent India and attempt to get a back-to-back win for her country.

  1. Absolutely racist what the other candidates and so called pageants experts have done to discredit her! Only because an American Filipina won the title for the first time, they do not want an Asian to wear the crown. That is the epitomy of racism. Nobody said badly or cheating when year after year a black woman won the title or for decades a white woman wore the crown, now in 2022, all of a sudden cheating etc. is on the agenda.
This a warning to you all MF racists out there. You have crossed the line of deceny and fairness. You trashed our girl badly, there will be consequences in the future. Just remembering you! You have started it, we will finish it! Who ever wins next year's title she will be congratulated in the same manner as you have done to our girl. Does not matter what colour she has!.

  2. Miss Montanan is BITTER feisty and catty woman living in pageantry world….. she’s super bitter because she didn’t make it to the top. She’s bringing everyone else with her so she can have a bigger subscription to her TikTok account

  3. Texas won after having to wear a Jovani gown and with her hair down. Her prelim gown was designed by a Philippine designer, and it was much prettier than the gown she won in! I hope she wears her hair up at universe in gown. She is alluring and has a quiet confidence.

  4. Rina, from Uruguay. I've been a Miss Universe follower since 1978. When I saw R Bonnie being crowned as Miss Texas, I thought: she will be Miss USA and possibly Miss Universe. I agree with you. She is out of this world, in all possible ways. Personality, social cause, occupation, facial beauty… She definitely gives me Olivia Culpo vibes in terms of facial beauty.

  5. DC should have stayed Miss Earth USA Air 2022 then she would have been going to Miss Earth after the original Miss Earth USA 2022 resigned. I went to the Miss World America (USA) website and it literally says the site no longer exists. Any has any tea on that. Up to 1990, the 1st runner up at Miss USA use to go to Miss World. A mess. Congrats R'Bonney!

  6. I don’t think she’s a front runner for the MU crown but I do think she’s a strong top 5 contender. USA hasn’t had an exceptionally strong candidate for many years and they haven’t been in the MU top 5 since 2015 😬 I will say I’m kinda over the crystal Stewart era already. She hasn’t added anything significant to the pageant since she took over last year. I felt like I was watching a reality show instead of a pageant. Too many hosts and none of them were entertaining. I hate that round table Q&A. The questions the contestants were asked were dumb. Someone needs to bring Miss USA back to its former glory as a powerhouse at MU

  7. This was the first year I have ever watched Miss USA. After prelims it was clear Texas was a standout frontrunner and rightfully so! I did however prefer her prelims evening gown and hair. At that informal group discussion segment I was worried for her as someone in fashion being up against a chemical engineer and a lawyer, but I think she was the most authentic in her answers and its delivery. I think she will place at MU, but she will need a great deal of good fortune to outshine the other powerhouses…

I personally REALLY liked Minnesota, I was disappointed she didn't make Top 5. Ohio was the most consistent for me in her full performance and deserved to be there (even though I can't help but feel she took a lot of inspiration in her answers from Miss SA 2022's Q&A :).

For a moment I did think North Carolina might win and I would not have been unhappy with that, but this was written in the stars for Texas. I do think she was the organisation's preferred winner though and she certainly is a good representative for the MU host country. Congrats to her!

  8. Anyone else notice how reminiscent Ohio's answers were to Miss SA 2022's Top 5 and Top 3 Q&A answers…? Not that I would blame her to be inspired by our ladies! I think she herself deserved Top 3.

  9. Texas is fine. But my bet was Kansas. She already looks like a Miss Universe. I’m shocked she didn’t go all the way to Top 5. North Carolina is also very beautiful. And I don’t know what happened to New Jersey. She didn’t even make the Top 20.

  10. The cut they made at the top 16 was completely unnecessary, I believe District of Columbia would have definitely made top 5 had she not been cut, she was my predicted winner as well.

I had Texas at 3rd and Illinois at 4th, Nebraska was a shock to me because I didn't have her on my list at all. Overall I had 11/16 so I'm really proud of myself.
