Miss Universe is by far the better pageant. It's far more exciting. Miss World is a great organisation in that a lot of money has been raised for charities, but Miss Universe is way better.

Awesome episode my country DR has one crown of both of these pageants. For me MW is by far more comple, for me that makes it less popular but their queens get to work more for social causes.
Another woman I absolutely loved was Miss Colombia 2019 Gabriela Tafur. Dani why are Russian and South America women so hot!! I don't mean sexy they are naturally beautiful and why do American women and others have to put a lot of makeup to be beautiful.
My favourite Miss USA. Don't have any current ones Dani. I did like Miss Nevada USA 2019 Tianna Tuamelohoa. That woman is a stunner. I was very disappointed she did not win although she made it to the top 5. Chelsie Kryst, Miss North Carolina 2019 ended up winning although she is not as beautiful as Tianna.
The hottest Miss World for me was Miss Iceland Unnur Vilhalmsdottir who won Miss World 2007. I have not watched a lot of Miss Worlds but Dani, you got to check her out. That woman is hot but not as hot as Oxana Fedorovna.
I find Miss Universe more interesting and fun to watch than Miss World, Dani. The hottest Miss Universe was Oxana Fedorovna, Miss Russia who was crowned Miss Universe 2002 but was subsequently dethroned as a result of not fulfilling all her duties. Dani, you should see Oxana Fedorovna, when I say hot, that's my ideal woman in terms of looks (beauty).
Miss Universe and Miss World are two international beauty pageants. Miss America competes in Miss World and Miss USA competes in Miss Universe. Miss World and Miss America are older than Mies Universe and Miss USA. I think Miss World/Miss America was started by an English man whereas Miss Universe/ Miss USA was started by an American. Pretty sure of my facts, Dani.

MW is actually better than MU in various sence like in MW they don’t on how walk in evening gown or swimsuit neither they judge u on expressions or fierce look unlike MU. MW judges on various interviews, sports, talent and top model. Does MU have any sports or talent competition -Noooo!!! Because MU is all about glit and glamour while MW is about a real, honest, bold , smart and talented women. That’s the reason MW winners are more successful than MU.

In my own opinion I strongly believe that both Miss World and Miss Universe want a Queen that's articulate, beautiful with a purpose and is naturally ready to serve humanity but the only difference there is that Miss Universe care about glitz, glam and beauty but miss world is more into natural beauty and the girl next door image kinda title holder

Miss World is charitable and do so much good to help people. Miss Universe is purely entertainment.
Miss World was once considered by many to be the pageant for runner-ups…many national pageants, even Miss USA, sent their second placers to Miss World. When Julia Morley took over, she started insisting contestants be the actual winner of their national pageants.
i don't watch miss world unless i want to fall asleep in a jiffy.
In Mis World there are more participants from different countries and each one has a chance to win or to be high classified and in Miss Universe there are fewer participants and basically every year there are representatives of the same countries in the final and the winner is from the same country where this contest is popular and they can make more money on it. Also in Miss Universe only one canon of beauty is recognized, i.e. olive skin, dark hair, brown eyes, i.e. If girl is white and European has very little chance to go forward. In Miss World still has chance as they treat contestants equally.

What criteria is a miss world chosen
To all national orgs., one piece of advice for you is that NEVER own both MU & MW licenses. That is not a good strategy. Both prefer an official winner not a runner-up or an apointee
