Fun fact cops are 4 times more likely than any other group of people to be domestic abusers. It's great that they're also the only people dv victims have to turn to. Fantastic system of killing all the women and claiming that it's not a rampant issue affecting every first world nation. Hell in the USA 55% of the murders committed are DV related 80% female victims and 20% people who intervened and the only system in place to help them is a 30 day shelter, assistance that can take 2-4 weeks to process, and a "child protection agency" more likely to prosecute victims of DV due to lack of resources including housing, food, and childcare with men 4 times more likely to be granted custody or co custody of the children even when abuse has been proven and 10 times more likely if abuse is only alleged with 1/51 children being believed about abuse over a father falsely claiming alienation. 25% of DV victims are murdered, 9% commit suicide, 30% never report or get help, 20% go back to their abusers rather then face homelessness. 52% of the homeless population in the United States are women and children fleeing domestic violence and we're actively defunding programs that could help them.
