It wasn’t only her walk, but her overall performance in prelims from level of confidence, to the gown she wore to the technical details…they were all underwhelming. In fact she gave the worst performance as compared to all the other contestants. It seemed like she didn’t want to be there. And I blame the Miss Thailand Universe org for giving her that horrible dress. It did not suit her body type. Had she been given a better gown, then maybe it would have redeemed her but that whole performance was just something to forget.
Anchilee just lost her momentum during the prelims ..she lost her confidence..you can see it through her eyes ..and the worst part..her gown was horrible ..

by the way.. The fluency of english makes a great impact first.. then the look.. the walk.. execution and the positivity she carries… im just a fan. not a title holder 🎃🎈🎉
I wouldn't feel confident too if I was surrounded by the most beautiful women who work hard to get the crown. We're being nice to her supporting her advocacy and nobody told her not eat too much of that yummy pad thai. Did she expect to eat, get big, join the most prestigious beauty pageant for skinny women and win? Her lack of discipline and effort to work harder was so obvious.
Let us not forget that aside from their Prelims performance and close door Interviews, the people behind the cameras of Miss Universe has a big factor.
Remember when Ms Paula Shugart said before that they are monitoring and checking out all of the girls even outside their daily activities at the pageants. These people are the hairdressers, make up artists, chaperons, security and other staffs behind Miss Universe. How they see you and interact with them affects your chances of being Miss Universe or making it to the final cut.
Let’s set as an example, Miss Universe Venezuela 2016. She is arguably one of the heavy favourites amongst pageant vlogs and a huge crowd favorite on that year. Many questioned her non inclusion to the final cut but many videos surfaced around the net about her candid shots of her attitude and the way and even her fellow miss universe contestants voiced out their opinions about Mariam.
Another Example would be Miss Universe Colombia 2018. Though Miss Usa and Miss Australia during that time where involved on a controversial live about contestants who cannot speak english but was able to make it to the final cut, Miss Colombia’s open opinion about transgender that she strongly disagrees to join pageants like Miss Universe and candid shots of her showing “diva” moments. No wonder they did not make it to the final cut despite having a good performance on prelims, being one of the fan favourites or coming from a beauty pageant power house.
On the case of Miss Universe Thailand 2021, there was one controversial issue about her where in she wore a dress not conforming to the dress code when visiting the holy land at Jerusalem. Not yet confirmed and just a here-say but some are saying they decided to have photoshoot together with her “Thai” team and this is outside their daily activities during that time.
So it is possible that if this was true, then this might probably have cost her chances on making it to the finals.
Miss Thai did not win because her ASS is fat. It's a beauty contest; an objectivity contest. Do you think sponsors of branded fashion style houses would like to have a FAT model being dressed up? The world knows models are skinny and presses would only criticized her including the social media. Miss Thai would only be a huge problem then. IT'S A BEAUTY CONTEST AND NOT A PITY CONTEST.
Because the judge from India refused to Trash the Miss Universe and she influenced the Filipino judge to trash this obese Australian who thinks she can Cheat her way to the finals by banking on Fake Advocacy to be rewarded with fame and money. Let us all respect Women who work hard for their dreams. Miss Thailand is clearly not interested in pageants. She never watch a pageant video in her entire life and her hobbies include competing in hotdog eating competitions. WE ALSO need Sense of Humor. Calling her Fat is not Body Shaming. This is a beauty pageant, Judging the candidate is the Selling Point of the show. Let us not be HYPOCRITES!
I think an MU should always have that confidence regardless of body shapes and sizes. And a walk can very well speak for the confidence that the judges need to see. And that is why an MU is CONFIDENTLY BEATIFUL.
MUT 2021 was very weak as a group and Anchilee was my choice in that pageant! Her non-placement was the validation that MUT 2021 was really a weak batch compared to MUT2017-MUT2020 those 4 years were very competitive for Thailand.
She joined too soon.

It's a combination of everything but her weight issue always came up and it backfired. This is the creme dela creme of beauty pageants. The Grand Slam. I think if she had gone to the gym more, the outcome would be different.
Thailand candidates are arrogant…
But maybe the org. Will pick 20 semi finalist might thailand will get a spot… Just my thought 😅

I hope MUT looks beyond English skills next time. I really thought Punika or Veena would have been better choices for Miss Universe last year (though I absolutely love Amanda) and this year Kasama.

When you/she says "she is not your standard size 2" it made me curious as to what dress size miss Thailand is? I looked it up and couldn't find an exact answer, does anyone know?
Obviously, it was that hideous brown evening dress—– Atrocious. Her designer needs to be taken to the back of the shed and…. you know the rest. 🤪🤪🤪🤪
Let's make it simple: she went unplaced becoz she didn't really care about Miss Universe. Such a big mistake to choose her while some other contestants in the MUT Top5 or Top10 were much more serious.
So IMG would rather have headlines about bad cat noises than #RealSizeBeauty?

first of all, she's too fat. she looks terrible and insecure. her walk is horrible too. I don't see confidence in her
Anchilee looks amazing during her national pageant, her overall figure and styling was perfect however she seemed to let herself go during Miss Universe. She performed sloppy during prelims and even gained more weight which is not “RealSizeBeauty” as she advocates but laziness and being undisciplined rather. My comment may irk some sensitive people but that’s the truth.
She's super size and can't project properly.

It's simple, Thailand didn't make it because the judges weren't into her. She lacked that impressive communication skills and consistency in her advocacy.
I think she was not confident enpugh on stage and she lacked energy and body language. I was still looking for her to place though as she is uniquely beautiful.
why do i feel like your just justifying her just because you like her and think she can win the crown. You look at it in the professional level and be honest, do you think she can win with that performance when you have exceptional ladies out there? This is why Ms. USA is declining from winning crowns, the thought of "Ms. USA is not a model and doesn't need to walk that great" well honey, you have to realized that Ms. USA and Ms. Universe are different, every ladies coming from other part of the world not only can speak well but can walk like diva model besides having an outstanding background how can Ms. USA compete with that? with that kind of thinking? Every year someone raise the bar in the pageantry if you can't keep up you're country will be stock on that kind of thinking. USA have the best ladies out there they just need the best organizer to train them and prepare them from head to foot like the way other countries ( Thailand, Venezuela, Phililppines, India, Indonesia, Columbia, South Africa) prepare their ladies. Its the battle of wits, intelligence, fashion, grace, poise and team effort to win.
