WHERE ARE THE MISS USA STATE QUEENS? There’s been many changes within the Miss Universe and Miss USA organizations over the past three years. Not all of those changes have been great for titleholders or fans. In a strange turn of events no state queens for the 2024 year have been crowned. Usually by this time of the year, we’ve seen half of the Miss USA class crowned. There is also the issue of bankruptcy of JKN Global, that is of concern to pageant audiences and titleholders. 1. Hi Dani, long time fan and love you. Here are my takes on the current state of the Miss USA organization: the whole brand needs to make effort to adapt to the times. In terms of what it means to be a modern woman. Strengthen dedication to new avenues of social justice and philanthropy, adapt to the changing social media digital landscape, and recognizing the need for a strong voice who will represent the new generation. As someone who is Gen Z, we are shifting into a generation who values authenticity and we’re starting to see past the illusions of the “celebrity” it factor that the original Miss USA was built on.

It’s because we’ve entered the Age of Aquarius (valuing community, individuality and authenticity) and exiting Age of Capricorn (which values status, hierarchies, power)

  2. I haven’t been seeing Noelia be very active on social media since the Miss Universe competition. Do you have any idea why? Should she be doing more press events? I feel like the Miss USA org doesn’t have her doing enough activities. Would love your thoughts on this.

  3. It sounds like Laylah Rose is cleaning house which isn’t a bad thing but it’s beginning to be clear that she’s doing it in a bad manner. Similar to Anne, who took away the franchises of Miss Universe from long term organizations in Mexico, Indonesia, and Vietnam.

  4. Political correctness and woke ideology have all but destroyed these pageants, and no one wants to admit it. Trying to be everything to everyone is just not feasible. We're in an era where no one wants to hear the word NO. Most people know this but are deathly afraid of being labeled a bigot or hater.

  5. The Miss Universe owner wants to keep USA out of this year pageant because the Mexican fans love to boo at Miss USA. That's the reason why HE is doing this.

  6. Thanks for giving us retired pageant gals the news still! It's SO hard to see what was once such an amazing organization consistently go downhill. I really hope they can get it together. After Miss America 2.0, I was so glad we still had at least one solid "mainstream" system doing well but now, I don't feel like we can say that? I wonder if these things will increase the ages on systems like NAM, UNM, and similar others??? Even if that doesn't happen, I feel like something big is coming.

  7. 20 Million (aout P1.1 billion) is PHILLPINE PESO!!! Not Baht! This was an article published by Esquire Philippines. And you could have at least checked the difference between BT and PP. Not that difficult.

  8. Someone must takeover the organization. It must be returned to an American owner. The Thai owner has his own problem and he has to let others to handle the MUO while he's solving her problems with his Thai company.

  9. Some people (not me) think that when Miss USA was under the direction of Crystle Stewart it was the worse it has ever been… but it seems like under Laylah directorship we’ve lost state directors, no state pageant dates, and no awards that are supposed to be given to Noelia!

  10. Let us all blame it to the new owner of Miss Universe. I guess those national directors does not want to continue being a directors. The changes in Miss Universe policy became a questionable matter to them. That is probably the reasons why they are no longer interested to continue.

  11. I am looking up RPM Productions in Aiken, SC (who produces The Miss & Teen contestants for South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama and Louisiana) and I am finding NOTHING!!! That is very unusual bc the dates are always planned by January!!!! I can find absolutely nothing! You have me looking frantically for any state pageants and I can’t find any!

  12. What they need to do in USA is crown the ladies one year in advance as they do in Venezuela. This gives the winner a year to prepare and send a well prepared lady.
