So Miss World 2021 FINALLY happened and I am less than please.
Miss World Poland 2021 Karolina Bielawska ended up taking the crown at the end of the event and Miss World United States (America) placed as the 1st Runner-Up while Cote d’Ivoire (Ivory Coast’s) Olivia Yace placed as the 2nd Runner-Up.
However, South Africa’s Shudufhadzo Musida and Venezuela’s Alejandra Conde were left out of the Top 13, which left many unsatisfied.
It was not this that made me upset, but the whole production. I was so annoyed at the lack of an official live stream for international viewers and had to hunt for streams all over the place. Other than this, the stage was underwhelming and certain creative decisions made were questionable.
Overall, I felt that some contestants deserved better than what they were given.

Try watching Miss Europe Continental. Personally, I think it's a way better produced show, music and staging so much better.

In my opinion, they couldn’t have strong competitors/strong speakers against Poland in the top 6 (although Ivory Coast was definitely a strong competitor from day 1). Or else it would have been harder to justify her win and she wouldn’t have stood out in the top 6. I continue to believe this was political and I believe people denying that are either Polish, or choose to be oblivious about it. I’m pretty sure that if the pageant happened in December, before the war, it would have been a very different outcome.
I don’t think Poland’s answer actually addressed the question. So apparently learning that we can help others, serve an volunteer is a new discovery that we have not found yet…. Gee, I wonder what all those NGOs, volunteering opportunities etc are for…Congrats anyway Poland!

can we just be happy for poland? i mean, she didn't win any fast track event but she was included in the top 40 and then top 13, top 6 and finally won the crown. if you haven't noticed, she was given the most difficult question but she answered it calmly, regally, with wit. she's beautiful inside out. if the organization chose to crown her for two reasons (she really deserve it and for political reason), that would be okay for me. hitting two birds in one stone

Poland had to win coz of the current situation in Ukraine so that MW could help fund. Poland didn't deserve to win but happy to know that the country will be funded well in these times to help Ukraine. Well done MW 👏🏻
Worst version of miss world, the stage was small with full of dancers and the musicians. I don't understand what was the need for all that…..i still can't believe South Africa and Venezuela didn't make it to top 13, I was really shocked honestly. I'm done with this

The only good thing about this MW edition was the quality of contestants, there were so many good ones. The show itself was chaotic, I did not know what was going on so often. Also the stage looked like a warehouse. Too bad that the oldest pageant has fallen so low. The need to get their act together and do something because things are not looking good for that brand.

Pls listen to me alissa who was miss world america winner and was going to go to miss world 2022 or may I say this edition but she was unplaced just bcs she was aged out but truth is she is just 26 and vanessa miss world 2018 was 28 when she won but shree bot being even in top 5 in mwa won the right to represent USA against alissa and alissa has shown screen shots of shree being not so good with anyone and I will now it's your side to support shree or not but pls know this thing too
